For the fourteenth year in a row, Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) has been awarded a place on the Cincinnati Enquirer’s list of Regional Top Workplaces!
The Cincinnati Enquirer partners with Energage, a research company with more than 16 years of experience, to coordinate staff surveys, and based on the results of these anonymous surveys, organizations are named to the Top Workplace list.
#GCBHS is one of only 3 organizations in the region to achieve this award all 14 years that the program has operated.
The award is based solely on the information an organization's staff fills out on an anonymous survey. In 2023, over 2100 organizations engaged in the survey process, and only 144 of those organizations won a spot on the Top Workplace List.
I get to not only making a difference in the community but getting to do what I love everyday. GCBHS employee in our Child & Family Division
According to Enquirer writer Joseph Powell, "The heart of the Top Workplaces award is the employee survey process. Energage administers a 24-question survey to employees, who are the sole deciders of whether a company culture merits recognition."
This year GCBHS was also awarded special recognition as the best organization for "Work/Life Flexbility." The special awards are based on survey answers in specific categories and anonymous comments submitted by staff, who were very complementary of the flexibility that GCBHS Leadership offers to those who work for the organization.
"Many jobs in social work lack work/life balance, GCBHS does an excellent job of maintaining that balance." GCBHS Employee in Clermont County
